Eight Die, Four Injured in Kalomo Road…

Eight people have died while four others sustained serious injuries after aToyota Hiace minibuscollided head-on with another vehicle in the Tara area ofKalomo. The minibus, belonging to thePentecostal Assemblies of God ChurchinLusaka, was carrying12 passengersfromLivingstoneto Lusaka at the time of the accident.

Confirming the incident,Moono Namalongosaid the crash occurred after the driver of the Toyota Hiace minibus allegedly failed to keep to her lane and collided with an oncoming vehicle before veering off the road. Police have since launched investigations into the cause of the accident.
