THE 2025 Castle Lager Premiership ended on Sunday with the fireworks, which were expected on the final day, falling flat. Interest had been hyped up by the possibility that Dynamos, the country’s biggest and most successful football club, could be relegated if results didn’t go their way. Highlanders, the second biggest and the second most successful football club in the country, were also mathematically in danger.

However, as we had correctly predicted, only an incredible turn of events, including Bosso losing by a scoreline of about ten goals, while their other rivals won, would end up with Highlanders being relegated. That was never going to happen and Bosso secured their place in the PSL for another season after a 1-1 draw against Chicken Inn in their final game of the season. Even if they had lost that game, the reality is that Bosso would still have secured their place in the PSL for next season. This explains why most of the attention was on Dynamos.
