Don’t shoot down Bill 7 just because UPND rejected Bill 10 – Sunday Chanda

KANCHIBIYA PF MP Sunday Chanda says the PF should not shoot down Bill 7 simply because the UPND shot down Bill 10 while in opposition. And Chanda says people in his constituency would think he is insane if he shoots down any prospects of delimitation. In an interview, Thursday, Chanda said while he respected the position taken by some PF members concerning Bill 7, there was need to acknowledge that what the UPND did wrong while in opposition should not now become right.

“The partisanship that we have in this country is a problem for me because I went to school to think away from the box. So I respect the position that certain colleagues have taken within the party…. Do you agree that child defilers should be castrated?
