Kariba –– In a powerful initiative aimed at combating the growing issue of drug and substance abuse among the youth, theVisionary Cadres Association of Zimbabwe, in collaboration withMatrix Imperial College, held an awareness campaign under the theme “Say No to Drug Abuse and Substance Abuse.”

The event took place today at the Matrix Imperial College auditorium and drew a large crowd, including students, educators, and community leaders The campaign comes at a crucial time when drug abuse in Zimbabwe has reached alarming levels, prompting President Emmerson Mnangagwa to address the issue during a recent national address He emphasized the importance of protecting the youth from the dangers of drugs, stating, “As a nation, we must unite to safeguard our future by ensuring our children grow up in a drug-free environment It is our responsibility to create opportunities for our youth, steering them away from substances that can destroy their lives.”
