ITāS the day they will finally get the piece to go with their historic glory.
Scottland will this afternoon return to Ascot, the same venue they were confirmed champions last month, to receive the crown.
The Mabvuku side has re-written history after becoming the first team in 41 years to win the Premier Soccer League title in their maiden season.
The only team to have done that independent Zimbabwe was Black Rhinos back in 1984.
But some massive investment that culminated into high-profile star-signings by the Pedzai āScottā Sakupwanya owned club equalled that record and in style too after Scottland delivered it with two games to spare.
Today they guest for TelOne at the same turf they rolled over Kwekwe United in a 5-1 mauling that sealed the glory for them.
All roads are leading to Gweru with the Midlands capital set to be the centre of attraction as far as PSL proceedings are concerned.
Tadious Manyepo is in Gweru to provide live updates.
Stay tuned!

First Lady Dr Amai Mnangagwa is at Ascot Stadium and is seen here being introduced to the teams.
PSL has a new trophy

The PSL has a brand new trophy and itās Scottland who will lay their hands on it first.
Navaya, Machope in race for the Golden Boot
Yes itās Scottlandās coronation day. A culmination of all the hard work they have put in. But there is a lurking āwarā between TelOneās Washington Navaya and Scottlandās Tymon Machope.
Navaya has 17 goals under his belt and Machope is two goals behind.
And the leading scorer and his closest pursuer will be looking at sealing the Golden Boot. For the next 90mins, it will be a tug-of-war between the pair.
We are underway at Ascot and this is how the teams are formed up.

A subdued game
Ten minutes have gone by and it looks like the occasion is overshadowing every piece of play in the field.
There is basically no life. Just some tapping in of the ball from both sides, so to speak.
No hunger. No desire. No energy. No passion.
No shot on target at either end. But loads of passion on the terraces. Itās a historic afternoon for Scottland.
And then the rains
When they were confirmed champions by beating Kwekwe United 5-1 a fortnight ago here, the final whistle was greeted by a heavy downpour.
Today is their coronation day and the rains have come even earlier.
Itās not a downpour as yet. The match is safe so far. But nothing to write home about it with 23 minutes gone.
Macheke comes close for TelOne
A half-chance and a half-hearted effort onto it. Ideally Tawanda Macheke should have done better on that occasion but he skied it up right from inside the box.
It is TelOne who looks likely to score first but they will really need to shift the gears more.
Players soaked up, match dulls down
This has never been an exciting match and the rains havenāt helped matters.
The players are now soaked up and the pitch has become slippery.
The terraces are slowly emptying. Basically the players are just up in the field to wind the clock down. The two goalkeepers; Nelson Chadya for Scottland and Chris Mverechena for on holiday
Scotland Opens the Scoring at 38 Minutes ā Guess Who?
Scotland has taken the lead with a spectacular goal right before halftime, at the 38th minute. Fans were left wondering who the goal scorer was, and the answer is none other than Machope! His impressive performance has set the tone for an exciting game ahead.
TelOne 0-1 Scottland

Godknows Murwiraās dipping freekick was too tricky to handle for Mverechena.
The lanky goalkeeper could only punch it back and Machope, always lurking down the box slid it in.
Machope now has 16 goals, one behind Navaya.
Scotland leads 2-0 against TelOne at halftime, with Chakuchichi scoring at the 45th minute.
Second half begins at Ascot
Benjani Mwaruwari Attends Ascot for 2025 PSL Champions Scotlandās Final Match and Crowning Ceremony
Former Zimbabwe national team player Benjani Mwaruwari, also known as The Undertaker, was spotted at Ascot during the 2025 Premier Soccer League season finale. He is attending Scotlandās final game against Telone. The moment was captured on video by Veronica Gwaze.
Itās a lively second half
TelOne pulls one back.
And itās a screamer from Tawanda Macheke
TelOne 1-2 Scottland 57 minutes.
Machope searches for a second goal
Tymon Machope knows he has only a few minutes to equal and possibly surpass Navaya in the Golden Boot race.
He is only a goal shy after opening the scoring here. He has had a good chance to score a second but hit it against Mverechena. His fighting spirit is in full swing. Nothing to lose. Will he get the job done? Only time will tell. Conditions have eased up. The rains have subsided. But the pitch remains slippery.
Looks like Scottland will end it in style
TelOne have asked some difficult questions but Scottland are unyielding.
The Mabvuku team wants to be crowned in style. Just under 10 minutes before they are capped as the new Kings of local football
TelOne comes close
That was the moment to take your tally beyond reach Navaya!
But a lame header behind it. No power behind it whatsoever and Chadya simply collected. Should Machope score at the other end, Navaya will rue this chance for the rest of his career.
