Newly-crowned 2025 TNM Super League champions Mighty Wanderers and their arch-rivals FCB Nyasa Bullets, who were the runners-up, registered contrasting season statistics. The Lali Lubani Road outfit won the title with 69 points, three above their fellow Blantyre-based giants. According to the final log table, the Nomads lost just once to relegated Mzuzu City Hammers 2-1, followed by third-placed Silver Strikers who lost twice while Bullets most six times.
Wanderers also conceded the least number of goals, 14, followed by Silver Strikers on 18. On the other hand, Bullets scored the highest number of goals, 60, nine above the Nomads who were second in goals scored while the Bankers were third with 50. Bullets’ ttacking duo of Babarunde Adepoju and Chikumbutso Salima shared the golden boot, having netted 15 goals apiece.
Despite finishing second, Bullets won the highest number of games at 21, one more than the champions. Three teams, Silver, Moyale Barracks and Chitipa United registered the highest number of draws at 10 apiece. On the other end of the table, bottom-placed nd relegted Songwe Border United won only one match, which was the least in the 16-team top-flight league. The Karonga-based rookies, who finished with six points, were also the most generous team, having let in 77 goals, followed by 14th-placed Mzuzu City Hammers, who conceded 49.
