UPND Spokesperson Cornelius Mweetwa says the party is strongly addressing the issue of party officials pocketing money which is released for the party activities. Some UPND youths in Chawama have complained that despite money being released for election campaigns it doesn’t reach them as some party senior members have had a tendency of pocketing the money before it reaches the foot soldiers. Some members were forced to start looking for money for transport to get back where they came from because they feel disappointed that the party had not been releasing money.
Some have pointed out that this tendency may negatively affect the election result for the UPND in Chawama. Asked whether the claims were true, Mweetwa could neither confirm… Do you agree that child defilers should be castrated?
