BEAUTY Ng’andu, a member of the Salvation Army Church and secretary of the Naomi Women’s Club, says the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) has transformed the lives of widows in Kanyama by giving them a chance to rebuild their livelihoods through organised village banking. “My name is Beauty Ng’andu. I pray at Salvation Army, and our group is called Naomi Women’s Club.

We are all widows. We want to thank the authorities for CDF because they awarded us a grant of K13,000,” she said. Ng’andu explained that the group invested the money in village banking and recorded significant growth within six months.
