Bumper bashing leads to fatal shooting in alleged road rage incident in Emmarentia

An alleged road rage argument turned fatal in Emmarentia on Sunday. What reportedly started as a simple bumper-bashing escalated into a fatal shooting in the Johannesburg suburb of Emmarentia on Sunday morning. According toSuburban Control Centre, initial information indicates that the shooting followed an argument that ensued after a minor accident.

This resulted in a couple being shot, with the husband being declared dead at the scene, the source indicated. The wife was reportedly taken to the hospital in a critical condition. Unconfirmed reports suggest that a firearm was discharged during the altercation, although the exact circumstances leading to the shooting remain unclear.
