Zambian left-back Dominic Musonda has parted ways with FCB Nyasa Bullets on mutual consent, the club has announced. The Zambian joined The People’s Team in March 2025 on a one-year deal with an option to extend the deal. However, both parties have agreed that the contract should not be extended.
In a statement issued yesterday, Bullets thanked Musonda for his contribution during his short stint with the Blantyre-based outfit. Reads the statement: “The club thanks Musonda for his commitment and professionalism during his time with The People’s Team and wishes him every success in his future endeavours.” In an interview, Musonda said he would cherish the time he spent at Bullets. Musonda made 12 appearances across all competitions during his time at the club.
He has eight caps in TNM Super League (now FDH Bank Premiership), two in the Castel Challenge Cup and one each in the Airtel Top 8 and the now defunct FDH Bank Cup. One of Musonda’s standout moments in Bullets colours was in the Airtel Top 8 final when he converted a penalty against Silver Strikers to help The People’s Team lift the trophy in 2025. Bullets have also announced the departure of forward Bright Munthali Munthali signed a six-month contract in August 2025, marking his return after leaving the club in 2022.
