BotswanaPost moves to insure in transit parcels

The state-owned postal service company said customers can insure parcels valued up to P30,000 at a standard premium rate of three percent of the sum insured, while higher-value items can be accommodated through individual quotations. It stated that customers also continue to benefit from BotswanaPost’s parcel tracking, proof of delivery and SMS notifications. PosoInsure Principal Officer, Gorata Kewakae, said the launch supports the BotswanaPost’s continued transformation into an integrated provider of logistics, financial, digital and insurance solutions.
