BOTSWANA BOOSTS DIGITAL RELIABILITY WITH NEW T3 DATA CENTRE

Botswana has reached a major digital milestone with the certification of its new Tier 3 Data Centre. There is move expected to drastically reduce system downtime and improve access to online government services.

Minister of Communications and Innovation, David Tshere, told Parliament that the state-of-the-art facility guarantees almost 100% system availability and runs on highly secure power, cooling, and fire protection systems. He said the certification strengthens Botswana’s digital infrastructure, ensuring faster, more reliable government online platforms.
