Now!”The festival will shine a spotlight on climate change, inequality, and war, with filmmakers challenged to curate projects aligned with this theme.Bokola Festival co-director Sikhanyisiwe Sebata is looking forward to a refreshing edition, extending an invitation to filmmakers.“We’re so excited to bring Bokola 2025 to Studio Moto; a vibrant, immersive space where creativity and community meet.“We invite everyone to experience powerful films, meaningful conversations, and a fresh energy that reflects the spirit of Bokola,” said SebataThe event will showcase compelling documentary screenings across three curated strands: Stories From The Emergency, Dreamers, and Frontlines of Change.Bokola Festival Co-Director Dexter Fundire said this year’s edition has been rebranded to introduce an exciting new element.“This year, Bokola has been rebranded. We’re focusing on you—the people.
Your films, your dreams, your experiences,” Fundire said.Organisers have opened submissions for filmmakers to submit their work for consideration.
