SOUTH African-based PF presidential aspirant Willah Mudolo says although Constitutional Amendment Bill No. 7 contains constructive provisions, government must address the lack of public consultation on its proposed changes. He also says the Electoral Commission of Zambia must disclose constituencies earmarked for delimitation in order to strengthen public trust.
In a statement, Wednesday, Mudolo said citizens must approach Bill 7 with fairness, transparency and respect for public participation as required by the Constitution. “As the nation continues its spirited conversation on Constitutional Amendment Bill No. 7, it is essential that we elevate the debate with clarity, fairness, and respect for the rule of law.
