The Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) has delivered the ballot papers in readiness for the Mutondo and Litawa ward by-elections scheduled for December 31st, 2025 in Mongu district of Western Province. Mongu District Electoral Officer Oliver Muuka disclosed this in a statement released to the media this morning.The media reports that Mr Muuka explained that upon receiving the ballot papers, all political party liaison committee members will have a briefing.Meanwhile, when receiving the election material, ECZ officers carried out verification of the ballot papers and all the election material.The two by-elections in Litawa and Mutondo Ward are being contested by three political parties namely United Party for Prosperous Zambia (UPPZ), United Party for National Development (UPND) and the Leadership Movement (LM).
