ANDY Muridzo says it will take some time for him to heal after his former manager, Ronald “General” Mujuru, lost his wife and five children in a horror road accident last week. The Jeetaz Band leader, who was mentored by Mujuru on a voluntary basis, said his former benefactor’s loss was hard to bear. In an interview with Zimpapers Arts and Entertainment Hub, Muridzo said they were doing their best to ensure that Mujuru stays firm and resolute.

“The pain of losing a loved one is hard to bear, and losing an entire family is unimaginable,” Muridzo said. “We are commiserating with him because he remains one of us. As a family, we tried our best to console him, but you know it’s not easy for a man to lose his loved ones.

“We are doing everything we can to make sure he gets the best care so he can to move forward.” Muridzo benefited immensely from Mujuru’s leadership. “Losing fans is never easy, and losing them to death is even worse,” he said. “General would come to my shows with the entire family and it was a good feeling to have him supporting me.
