Company officials who were in Zimbabwe recently to scout for business opportunities, praised the country’s friendly investment climate.
According to Alfred H Knight’s regional business development manager Jonas Kamonere, Zimbabwe offers a favorable business environment, making it an attractive location for investment. The company executive said Zimbabwe was a favorable investment destination because it isendowed with an abundance of mineral resources, including precious metals and stones, base metals, and industrial minerals. Alfred H Knight Business Development manager in Asia Simon Sun said the abundant natural resources Zimbabwe boast have the potential to generate significant revenue for the country, and the government’s efforts to attract foreign investment in the sector are expected to pay off.
“Zimbabwe is very strategic insofar as the mineral resource underground is concerned,” he said. The company’s interest in the country is a vote of confidence in the government’s policies and its commitment to creating a conducive business environment. Sun highlighted the country’s favorable business environment, stating that it makes the country an attractive destination for investors.
