Aidoo noted that, in the past, Zambians were sent to Ghana to learn filmmaking which he hoped would continue but stopped. He made these remarks in an interview with Zambia Monitor during a screening of the Ghanaian film ‘The Fisherman’ at Ster-Kinekor Cinemas at Manda Hill, Lusaka. “We want this exchange of filmmaking skills to continue and expand, including having Ghanaians come to learn filmmaking and storytelling the Zambian way,” he added.

“The Zambian film industry has grown, and it is now easier than ever for local filmmakers to come together and produce a film,” he said.
