​“A Gold Mine for Zimbabwe” Rev Dr Obedia Musindo Commends First Family’s Vision and Philanthropy

​HARARE — The Founder and President of the Destiny of Afrika Network (DANet), Reverend Dr. Obedia Musindo, has praised Zimbabwe’s First Family for what he described as exemplary leadership, hands-on philanthropy, and an unwavering commitment to national development.

​Speaking on the sidelines of a Christian peace rally organized in opposition to planned July 31 protests, Rev. Dr. Musindo commended President Emmerson Mnangagwa, First Lady Dr. Auxillia Mnangagwa, and their family for driving initiatives aimed at uplifting marginalized communities and steering the country toward its Vision 2030 goals.

​Rev. Dr. Musindo highlighted President Mnangagwa’s ongoing economic and agricultural programs, emphasizing the administration’s plan to roll out 35,000 tractors nationwide to bolster rural mechanization and job creation.

​“President Ed Mnangagwa has already started to deliver on his promises to ensure Zimbabwe attains an Upper Middle-Income Economy by 2030,” Musindo said. “Recently, his government announced an initiative where 35,000 tractors will be distributed across the country. This means real development in our agriculture sector and significant job creation. President Mnangagwa is a gold mine for Zimbabwe—he is actively delivering on his promises.”

​Musindo added that the President’s developmental orientation has inspired prominent business leaders and philanthropists—including Dr. Kudakwashe Tagwirei, Dr. Paul Tungwarara, Hon. Scott Sakupwanya, and Sir Wicknell Chivayo—to invest back into local communities.

​Turning to First Lady Dr. Auxillia Mnangagwa, the DANet leader lauded her dedicated grassroots work across remote regions of the country.

​“I have rarely seen a leader of her nature,” Musindo remarked. “Instead of spending time on lavish international holidays, you see her deep in the remote areas of Zimbabwe assisting vulnerable people. She possesses a rare gift of giving, and that spirit of generosity defines the First Family.”

​Musindo noted that this spirit of community service extends to the younger generation of the family, citing Engineer Collins Mnangagwa’s initiative in championing the revitalization of the dilapidated Matapi Flats in Mbare.

​“The generosity of the First Family has clearly extended to their children,” he stated. “Engineer Collins Mnangagwa recently spearheaded the renovation of Matapi Flats in Mbare. Everyone is celebrating these long-overdue developments. People are now seeing the tangible results of the President’s vision.”

​Concluding his address at the rally, Rev. Dr. Musindo urged Zimbabweans to reject street protests in favor of peace, unity, and constructive participation in national development initiatives.
