CAPS United face yet another tough task when they travel to Bulawayo to face Highlanders in a Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match at Barbourfields Stadium on Sunday.

The Green Machine lost out on the Chibuku Super Cup when they were dismissed 2-0 in the semi-finals by Dynamos at the National Sports Stadium at the weekend.

Their mission now is to end the season in a respectable position in the league, where they are statistically still not safe from relegation.

Caps are on position eight on the log table with 37 points and five matches remain to the end of the season, holding a potential 15 points if they win all the games.

Save for bottom-placed Cranborne Bullets with 23 points, all the 10 teams behind seventh-placed Chicken Inn (44 points) are still fighting the dreaded chop.

The Lloyd Chitembwe-coached Makepekepe have not beaten any of the top seven teams this season, losing both sets of matches to Dynamos and Manica Diamonds, playing a draw and defeat to log leaders Ngezi Platinum Stars and lost to FC Platinum, while playing two draws against Chicken Inn.
