Sources close to the case say Malloti was detained at Machipisa Police Station since Tuesday, despite her lawyers informing the police of her poor health.
Her attorney, Dumisani Mthombeni, confirmed that she had not initially been told the reason for her arrest. “Client says she was not informed of the reason for her arrest yesterday and was only told this morning.
It’s alleged she was arrested for cyberbullying, and the complainant is believed to be one ‘Passion. ’ I am yet to get the full details,” said Mthombeni.
He further expressed concern over her health and that of her unborn child. “She told me she is unwell and fears for the good health and life of her baby.
