Guruve Marimba Arts Ensemblepocketed USD2,500 while Chinyakare Arts won USD1,500 and last but not least Shamva Beni got USD1,000
Held in partnership with the National Arts Council of Zimbabwe (NACZ) and the Zimbabwe National Traditional Dance Association (ZNTDA), this year’s festival promises to be a vibrant celebration of our culture and heritage through traditional dance.

This year’s festival will run under the theme, ‘Ngoma Ngairire Shamwari, Tshay’sgubhu Mngane’.

With a legacy spanning over 60 years, the award-winning Chibuku Neshamwari festival is gearing up to be an exciting event as it connects with consumers through the passion and expression of culture, dance, and heritage.

Chibuku Neshamwaricompetitions commenced on 10 May till the 19th of July 2025.

As a buildup, 10 provincial finals will be held, leading up to National finals.

Participants stand a chance to walk away with monetary prizes at both provincial and national level.
