25-year prison sentence for DJ Warras’s murderer, Joaquim Armando Pacula. A 25-year prison sentence has been handed down to one of the men convicted in connection with the murder of DJ and broadcaster Warrick “DJ Warras” Stock. Mozambican national Joaquim Armando Pacula, 25, was sentenced on Friday by the South Gauteng High Court in Johannesburg.

This comes after he pleaded guilty to murder, unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, and contravening the Immigration Act. The court sentenced him to 25 years’ imprisonment for murder, eight years’ imprisonment for the unlawful possession of a firearm, six months’ imprisonment for the unlawful possession of ammunition, and 12 months’ imprisonment for contravening the Immigration Act. The sentence followed a plea and sentence agreement reached between Pacula and the state. According to the authorities, Pacula was the gunman who carried out the fatal attack, while his co-accused, 44-year-old Victor Majola, has been identified as the alleged mastermind behind the killing.
