The parade was attended by senior officers, junior officers, sergeants and guards from the Police of the Republic of Mozambique (PRM), the Tax Authority (Customs), the National Criminal Investigation Service (SERNIC), as well as internal and external airport security teams (FALSEC). In her address, the Chairperson highlighted the importance of integrity, ethics and wisdom in carrying out duties, urging those present to base their actions on respect for the law and the public interest.
“Do not allow yourselves to become involved in criminal and corrupt practices, as these create vulnerabilities not only for those who commit them, but also for our people and the sovereignty of the country,” said Amélia Muendane. The official also reaffirmed that airport security is a shared responsibility requiring professionalism, constant vigilance and integrity from all forces involved in protecting airport infrastructure and national borders.
