It’s back! The Renault Trafic Passenger

Renault has brought back their iconic people mover to Mzansi, marking the return of one of the brand’s most recognised global nameplates after almost two decades of absence from SA. The media were introduced to the nine-seater in Johannesburg recently that showcased a vehicle designed to meet the evolving mobility needs of families, shuttle operators and business customers alike. We set out from urban Johannesburg and headed for the Muldersdrift area, combining national and other less forgiving roads carrying six journalists per vehicle.

We were all of the opinion that the Trafic acquitted itself rather well and was more than suitable for the intended market and takes its rightful place amongst competitors in the people mover category. I was first behind the wheel. No complaints whatsoever.

Everything was within easy reach but perhaps most importantly, the ride was very smooth and comfortable. The same can be said when I occupied the rear seats.
