The discussion began after ZiFM Stereo shared the concert flyer on its Instagram page on July 15. Others dismissed the claims as unfounded, arguing that the artwork was simply a creative design with no hidden meaning. One Instagram user, identified as @ansakuziva, said the poster merely reflected Winky D’s standing in Zimbabwe’s music industry.
“This guy is simply saying I’m the G.O.A.T chete. Zvimwe zvacho ka. Hapana nyaya apa.
Some of these things are non-entities,” the user wrote. Neither Winky D nor the event organisers had publicly responded to the claims at the time of publication. Despite the online controversy, preparations for the concert are continuing, with the event expected to attract thousands of fans.
