I have often argued that each one of us is where they are in life because that is exactly where they have decided to be. I know some people have always found this statement very offensive because according to them, it is about the environment, background, lack of education, the list goes on and on. However, the truth is we create our “own world. ” While God is the One who created the earth, the planet we live on, each of us has something to say about the world we live in, personally. The moment we start taking ownership and responsibility, that is when we start growing.
God gave man dominion over all His creation and circumstances. All it takes is faith because His grace is already available for His children. Abraham used his faith to release God’s power to create the world he wanted to live in. His faith released a world of blessings and abundance. I believe that as with Abraham, God wants us to create our own world today.
Abraham is called the father of our faith. “Therefore, it is of faith that it might be according to grace, so that the promise might be sure to all the seed, not only to those who are of the law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all, as it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations” (Romans 4:16-17). “Understand, then, that those who believe are children of Abraham. If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise (Galatians 3:7,29). These verses are saying that we are part of the family of God through Abraham.
Abraham set the example for us of believing Godand then speaking in faith, acting in faith, and receiving by faith. He acted like God acts. God told him to believe inthe impossible and call the things that were not in existence as though they were. He created a blessed world to live in by his faith. What kind of world do you want to live in.
