Mashonaland West Provincial Affairs and Devolution Minister Marian Chombo is leading the official proceedings, flanked by Commander Mechanised Brigade Brigadier-General Raban Nikisi and Jason Ziyapapa Moyo Air Force Base Commander Air Commodore Ellen Chiweshe. Minister Chombo read the President’s speech after inspecting a six-detachment parade mounted by the Zimbabwe National Army and the Air Force of Zimbabwe. The crowd was entertained by displays from the ZNA Mounted Regiment, AFZ dog displays, and drills by Inkomo Primary and Secondary Schools. Additionally, a football match pitted Crocodile against Oden football clubs.
