According to the Mogoditshane Acting Police Station commander, Superintendent Mompoloki Ramaphoi, police received a report of the incident at around 2 am from Go-Soko Ward in Gabane. Ramaphoi said a 19-year-old young woman was roused from sleep at her family’s home when she heard footsteps outside. Upon looking out the window, she allegedly saw a man carrying one of the roof rafters from their house and walking towards the gate.
