It would be remiss of me to start this missive without expressing my gratitude for all the birthday wishes from the country’s citizens from all four corners of the nation As you have seen with the way I danced the night away to celebrate being on this good earth for more than five decades, I am, as Gushungo would have said, as fit as a fiddle As you witnessed with the way I swayed to the music at my party, I could give teenagers a good run for their money when it comes to strutting on the dance floor kkkkkk

Even former detractors, who were at the forefront of the disgraceful removal of Gushungo, attended the party with fake plastic smiles I am not fooled, but that is an issue for another day The Ngwena regime has once again shot themselves in the foot with the diabolical decision to ban night vending and the sale of second-hand clothes The decision reeks of selfishness and shows how this so-called second repubric is detached from the masses

It seems to be beyond this inept lot that the vending, which they are banning, has been necessitated by their catastrophic leadership failure which has spawned job losses and company closures This year more than 20 000 people have lost jobs in the retail sector with thousands more thrown onto the street in the mining sector due to scorched earth policies by this not so new dispensation which has brought about poverty and despair To ban vending, which is the only source of livelihood for these vendors without providing alternative sources for survival, is indicative of the bankrupt and hopelessly clueless governance of the Scarfmore regime As sure as my doctorate, which was attained in short record time, the latest ban will fail dismally

Instead of creating a stable economic environment to enable self-sufficiency, the Ngwena regime is deepening poverty by banning the only source of livelihoods so as to reduce them to impoverished and desperate individuals that relies on for meagre handouts under some presidential scheme It is shameful how this Ngwena regime is turning the country into a banana republic It comes as no surprise that the touted stability of the funny money known as the Zimbabwe Gold (ZiG) is artificial The stability, which the regime has been shouting about from rooftops, has been achieved through not paying money it owes in the funny money to not only those it has contracted to work for them but also on holding back millions it owes platinum miners in export earnings
