Linhas Aéreas de Moçambique (LAM), the flag carrier, warned on Thursday, April 30, that it will reschedule flights due to “constraints of an operational nature” that have resulted in delays and the postponement of certain air connections. In a statement, the Mozambican state airline added that these adjustments to its flight plan have impacted the previously established schedule, resulting, in some cases, in rescheduling, operational delays, and the postponement of domestic and regional flight connections. “At this time, technical, operational, and maintenance teams are mobilized and working continuously to strengthen the operational availability of the fleet, with the situation expected to stabilize by May 5,” reads the LAM statement.

In this regard, LAM asks passengers to check the status of their scheduled flights in advance before traveling to the airport, guaranteeing that information regarding postponements will be made available beforehand.
