Harare Inaugurates Multi-Million Dollar Traffic Interchange

President Emmerson Mnangagwa officially opened the newly completed Trabablas Interchange on May 30. Located at the former Mbudzi roundabout, this US$88 million project is expected to ease traffic congestion and improve transport flows in southern Harare.

The interchange connects Simon Mazorodze, Chitungwiza, and High Glen roads—major arteries for commuters and cargo transporters. The project marks one of the largest post-independence roadworks in the capital.
