BUSINESSWOMAN GETS UPWARD REVIEW IN MAINTENANCE

A BUSINESSWOMAN, who is the fourth wife in a polygamous marriage and made headlines last week after attacking her husband, has received an upward review of the maintenance she is getting. Judith Maruta, 33, who had been receiving US$70 for her two children, will now receive US$200 from Kefas Mushore,50.

Kefas, a village head in Domboshava and businessman, separated from Judith after his affairs with her married friend, as well as his brother’s wife, were exposed. The two appeared before a Domboshava magistrate yesterday where they were both ordered to contribute to the upkeep of the children.
