Amod rejected the suggestion that cricket in the province has been “hijacked” and was ïn a mess”. Since being democratically elected, unanimously at the Annual General Meeting on 24 July, he has identified and addressed several compliance shortcomings and responded decisively to longstanding concerns raised by parents and stakeholders. Under his leadership, a transparent and accountable governance framework has been implemented to ensure that cricket in KZN Inland is accessible to all participants on the basis of merit.

The Union categorically rejects any suggestion of unlawful, unethical or improper conduct,” read the statement.
