HARARE Mayor Jacob Mafume has taken a dig at controversial artists Malloti and her partner Hulungende. He was speaking at the launch of Gift Gate’s book “Turning the Tide.” “We no longer have role models in the music industry. “Artists like Malloti and Hulengende behave (wildly) and use explicit language.

“We need laws that help us because clearly as a nation we are failing.” In the video she said she was the only one who could say whatever she wanted and would get away with it. Kissmore pleaded guilty to the charges of cyber-bullying and harassment after allegedly posting a TikTok video insulting businesswoman Zodwa Mkandla. Six months were suspended on condition that she does not commit a similar offense in the next five years.

The remaining six months were suspended on condition that she completes 210 hours of community service at Glen Norah Poly Clinic. She uses explicit language with reckless abandon and, somehow, she has managed to hands of the law which dragged the likes of Kissmore before the courts. She is probably the most controversial female artist in the history of the country’s entertainment industry.
