The President of Mozambique, Daniel Chapo, is undertaking a working visit this Friday (13 March) to Tete province, focusing on the Moatize district, as part of the monitoring of economic and social development initiatives linked to mineral resource exploitation in the region. During the visit, President Chapo will launch the Minas de Revuboè (Revuboè Mines) project. “The enterprise is part of efforts to enhance the value of natural resources and stimulate the national economy, with expected impact on job creation and local development,” states a communiqué from the Presidency of the Republic.
