Correction and apology: Msunduzi responsible for grass cutting in Cinderella Park

An earlier version of this article incorrectly stated that residents conducted the grass cutting during the community clean-up in Cinderella Park. Msunduzi Municipality has confirmed that municipal teams were responsible for cutting the grass. Community volunteers assisted by raking the cut grass, placing it into bags and cleaning pathways and sidewalks.

The Witness apologises for the error and any confusion caused. Ward 34 Rates and Residents Civic Group member Lester Smith also apologises for providing incorrect information regarding the grass cutting in the initial account.
