Upward pressure came primarily from prices of food & non-alcoholic beverages (5.83% vs 5.72%); clothing & footwear (4.80% vs 3.81%); miscellaneous goods & services (4.27% vs 4.01%); housing & utilities (2.71% vs 1.68%) and furnishings & household equipment (1.77% vs 1.32%). On the other hand, prices continued to fall for transportation (-1.52% vs -1.72%).
