
Local technology firm Virtual Tech has expanded its workforce management platform Antchito to iPhone users, months after launching it on Android devices.
The mobile application helps employers manage domestic workers, shop attendants and casual labourers by keeping digital records of payments, leave and employment documents.
Virtual Tech managing consultant Blena Chisenga said the expansion aims to make digital workforce management accessible to more employers.

The app allows employers to record payments made through mobile money, bank transfers or manual uploads, creating a reliable audit trail. It also automates end-of-service benefits such as gratuity and pension contributions.
Users can also track leave requests and securely store documents such as contracts and national identity cards.
Blantyre resident Bertha Manda welcomed the innovation, saying it could help prevent disputes with domestic workers.
βI once had a worker who left without notice and later demanded payment for months she never worked. Without records, it was difficult to prove my case,β she said.
