ZESCO United has parted ways with its Chief Executive Officer Kelvin Mutafu following an unsuccessful probationary period. In a statement issued on Friday, the Ndola-based club said the separation took effect immediately. “ZESCO wishes to inform its stakeholders and the public that the Club’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr.

Kelvin Mutafu has been separated from employment service with the Club with immediate effect,” the statement said. The club thanked Mutafu for his service and contributions during his tenure and wished him well in his future professional endeavours. Meanwhile, James Ngoma has been appointed Acting Chief Executive Officer on a caretaker basis.

The club also announced changes to its technical bench, with Head Coach Emmanuel Siwale and First Assistant Coach Clive Hachilensa temporarily suspended with immediate effect. The suspension follows an ongoing review of the team’s technical setup and overall club performance. “During this period, the technical bench will be led by Winston Kalengo, Mwape Mwelwa, Jacob Banda, Emmanuel Mschili and Kondwani Mtonga,” the club said.
