According to Government spokesperson Inocêncio Impissa, the ongoing actions seek to organise the country to improve access to support mechanisms, emphasising that, even in the face of complex challenges, Mozambique has recorded progress in management processes and the strengthening of transparency.
As an example, Impissa highlighted the country’s removal from the FATF grey list, a scenario which, he noted, is the result of a set of reforms implemented over roughly three years. The Government spokesperson was speaking in Maputo on Tuesday, at the close of the Fifth Ordinary Session of the Council of Ministers.
