Pemba Airport, in Cabo Delgado, continues to consolidate its position as a strategic gateway to northern Mozambique. Currently served by daily flights operated by Airlink, from 30 March Pemba will have two flights from Johannesburg on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, enhancing connectivity between Mozambique and South Africa.
This increase provides more travel options, greater flexibility for passengers, and an additional boost to tourism, business and the region’s economic development. The strengthened frequencies highlight the growing dynamism of Aeroportos de Moçambique and the strategic importance of Pemba in regional connections.
