Photo: Ministério das Obras Públicas, Habitação e Recursos Hídricos-MOPHRH She urged Langa to plan public water supply and sanitation infrastructures, in coordination with the municipalities and the bodies of decentralised governance. The investment programmes in the sectors should be undertaken in a transparent and careful manner, “taking into account technical and financial sustainability”.
Langa, she added, should establish an environment favourable for the involvement of national and foreign private businesses in developing the infrastructures. Levi told Langa and Chipenembe that “your management capacity, oriented towards results and resilience, will be determinant for the success of the new duties you are accepting as from today”.
