The land transport network has been provisionally restored on most roads in Niassa province, which were damaged by the heavy rains recorded in recent days. According to Zezelal, six decks were installed on the bridge over the Nacache River, on the N360 road, helping to relieve road traffic between the districts of Maúa and Metarica. Additionally, major works took place on the R734 road, along the Metangula–Cobué section, over approximately 170 kilometres; on the N360, between Marrupa and Mecula, covering about 143 kilometres; on the R720, which connects Cuamba to Mecanhelas.

On the R733, between Unango and Macalodge, over 50 kilometres; and on the R1215, along the Macalodge/Nova Madeira–Matchedje route, covering around 125 kilometres. To carry out interventions on all road platforms affected by the adverse weather, the ANE estimates that approximately 400 million meticais will be required for a more comprehensive and lasting response to the rain-related damage in Niassa province.
