Harare- High Court judge Benjamin Chikowero has dismissed an application for discharge filed by former Cabinet Minister Walter Mzembi after the State closed its case.
Mzembi, who is currently in custody, is facing allegations of criminal abuse of office stemming from his tenure as Tourism Minister. Following the ruling, the matter was postponed to 3 March 2026, when Mzembi is expected to open his defence case.
