The cricket community mourning the sudden death of former Hollywoodbets Dolphins player Grant Rowley, who died at the age of 47 on Friday. The Hollywoodbets Dolphins Cricket team announced the news on Facebook on Saturday morning. “The Hollywoodbets Dolphins fraternity is left shaken after the devastating news of the death of former Dolphin, partner, and friend – Grant Rowley,” the statement read.

Affectionately known as “Rowls,” Rowley was a devoted member of the cricket fraternity. “He wore the Dolphins badge with immense pride and remained a faithful, friendly, and highly passionate part of the Dolphins family even after his professional playing career,” the team said. “His contribution to cricket and the memories he created with teammates and supporters stretch far beyond the boundary and will always remain part of our legacy,” the Dolphins added.

Since the announcement, tributes have poured in from fans, friends, and fellow cricketers expressing shock and sadness over Rowley’s death. “May his soul rest in peace. He was a great human being.
