Dikeledi Tears Mphela, Goitsione Machidi and McClaren Mushwana, accused of murder of an e-hailing driver made their first appearance at the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court. The fourth and final suspect linked to the killing of22-year-old Bolt driver Isaac Satlathas handed himself over to police in Atteridgeville, Pretoria The man surrendered on Monday and is expected to appear in the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday. Earlier the same day, three co-accused — Dikeledi Tears Phela, Gositsiane Machidi and McClaren Mushwana — briefly appeared in court.

The trio opted to abandon their bail applications and will remain in custody. The case was postponed to 23 February to allow for further investigations. Gauteng police spokesperson Mavela Masondo confirmed that all four suspects are facing charges of premeditated murder, aggravated robbery and hijacking.
