B-Metro Reporter BULAWAYO is on high alert after three gun-wielding thugs pounced on a motorist in Emganwini, carjacking him in broad daylight and vanishing with his blue Honda Fit registration number ACV 0901.The daring robbery happened Friday around 5:30PM, leaving residents rattled and police warning that the stolen ride could be used to commit crimes.Bulawayo police spokesperson Inspector Nomalanga Msebele confirmed the incident, saying the victim was seated in his parked car when danger struck.Inspector Nomalanga Msebele“Three unknown accused approached the complainant who was seated in his parked car. One of the accused pointed a pistol at the complainant and ordered him out of the vehicle,” said Insp Msebele.The gang also grabbed the man’s cellphone before speeding off.“The accused also snatched the complainant’s cellphone before driving. The vehicle had six litres of fuel,” she added.Police fear the blue Honda Fit could now be a moving weapon in the wrong hands.“The stolen vehicle we suspect can be used to commit crime.
