Harare: AS the global culinary stage prepares to welcome its brightest young talents, Zimbabwe stands poised for representation by Commis Chef Tadiwanashe Taruvinga. Ahead of her departure for the prestigious Young Chefs Olympiad 2026 ,Express Mail Zim had the privilege of sitting down with Chef Taruvinga in Harare befto delve into this monumental achievement and her rigorous preparations. When asked about his preparation for such an intense event, Chef Taruvinga detailed her focused approach. “The preparation is intense.
We are studying the formats, understanding the judging criteria which emphasize sustainability and innovation, and of course, honing technical skills. My mentors at S.A.H.T.C. are invaluable.
