After a slow start to the year, artists and event organisers are back from the post-festive break as the entertainment scene starts to pick up with activities lined up for February. The month of January is traditionally a quiet one following the festive rush, with artists and fans taking time to recover from a packed December menu. However, February promises to have brought new energy with musicians and event organisers rolling out their first activities of the year.

One of the highlights is the Love and Vibes show scheduled for February 14 at Sunbird Mount Soche in Blantyre which is expected to bring together people to celebrate Valentine’s Day with live music performances. In an interview, event organiser Edson Kawalala said the music concert organised by Classic Events and DJ Kenny Entertainment is about bringing people together as they unwind and celebrate love. “This is for everyone who is ready to celebrate.

The performing artists are confirmed and attendees should expect a massive night of love,” he said. The lineup will feature musician Namadingo, Teddy Makadi, Mazani, Loiso and Saint Realest in addition to other activities. “The event will also feature other activities that will see patrons win various prizes on the day,” said Kawalala.
